Today is the last day of July and it is the 4th day of the London Olympics. I have been watching the swimming and diving competitions for the past 2 days. I don't know why but they really make me swim more. My legs are now very tired after this morning's rigorous swim. How about you? Are you following the Olympics?
Anyways, before all the new masking tapes landed in Singapore, I have some lace motifs for you. I got these beautiful lace motifs from Seoul. They are very versatile.  You can use them on any art n craft projects. They are S$4 for 3 including local postage or S$3.5 for collection/ combine shipment with other items.

Rose - 5 x 6cm
Teddy - 5.5 x 6.5cm
Thank you for stopping by. Please come back tomorrow as I will review the new limited edition masking tapes and many more. Have a good evening!!!

Are you ready for the London Olympics?

The 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony will start at 04.00 SGT tomorrow morning. Channel 5 will repeat the program at 18.00 to 21.30 tomorrow. So we don't have to wake up early to watch. ^o^
Other than the opening and closing ceremony, the games that I love to watch are swimming and diving. How about you?
To commemorate the London Olympics, I have made the following post card using the previous and current collection of Cath Kidston's masking tapes. Cath Kidston really reminds me of London. ;P

This is fun and easy to make. Don't you like the Cath Kidston tapes?

That's it for now, and have a good weekend. Don't forget to watch the Olympics games!!!!!

Hello Kitty Exhibitions in Hong Kong and Tokyo

Good news for Hello Kitty fans. Hello Kitty has 2 exhibitions in Hong Kong and Tokyo this summer holiday. The one in Hong Kong is called "Hello Kitty in Oz ~ the last chapter". There are games and shops at the exhibitions. Please visit the official website for more details: http://www.hellokittyinoz.com/ (Please note: iphone and ipad cannot access the page as its using flash) It will be fun to take pictures, try out all the games and of course shop for souvenirs.

The one in Tokyo is similar to the one in Hong Kong last year. It will be held at Omotesando hills from 12 to 19 August, 2012. Please visit their official website http://kittyrobot.jp/ The designer for Hello Kitty will also be there on 12 August. May be you can get her autograph.*o*

Since I can't go to both of the exhibitions, I made something for myself. Ta dah~

What do you think of this Kitty card? I really love it. All I used was kitty masking tapes, cardstock, Kure 1/4" circle punch and glue. One thing I must tell you is that the Kure circle punch is very good and sharp. It can punch through the masking tapes and cardstock and gave me crispy clear circles. If you are interested in getting the Kure punch, please drop me an email at lesunshinecraft@gmail.com

That's it for today and hope all of the Kitty fans can go and visit the exhibitions.
Have a good weekend!!!

Rilakkuma Label Machine & more

Rilakkuma is a character from San-X, it means relax bear. It was first appeared in 2003 and it is always associated with onsen (hot spring) or him taking a hot bath relaxing somewhere. There are 7 Rilakkuma stores around Japan, and 4 of them are in Tokyo. I visited the one at Tokyo station in April. The store has quite a wide selection of  Rilkkuma stuff and just like any speciality shop (專門店); they have specific items that are sold in their stores only. So I got myself the following Rilakkuma and chicken.....and.....aren't they cute?????

The apron has the Rilakkuma Store Logo \(^-^)/

Now back to the label machine. I'm going to introduce you the King Jim Rilakkuma label machine. It uses Tepra Pro tapes which mean you can use the Tepra Pro Kamoi masking tapes, Ribbon Tapes, Rilakkuma tapes, Pokemon tapes, laminated tapes, etc etc.
